Corporate Social Responsibility is the essence of this project. What started as an entirely non-profit effort to provide clean resources and utilities to struggling indigenous populations, has now turned into a global entity that operates on multiple levels.
With the revenue generated through Resource Savers, which serves every community that the company targets (not just the indigenous communities where we employ staff), we are able to allocate 100% of profits to our mission. Generous gifts from donors allow us to expand this effort, as Indigenous Effort operates as a 501c3. As a result, Indigenous Energy ideally hits a balanced budget at the end of the fiscal year and does not claim any form of profit.
This is an effort that is strictly a manifestation of CSR that was turned into a dual-entity business with a for-profit operating system so we would be able to provide greater service to the socially neglected populations of the world.
Every effort will be catered to the population being served. Cultural consultants are brought in whenever we start a center in a new area. We have a Native American consultant for North America, an Ogu tribal member for Lagos, a Maori in New Zealand, etc. They work with local tribal councils to ensure our funding is not being wasted and it is improving infrastructures that can provide greater resources, mainly energy providing ones such as water, electricity, gas, etc, to the people of the land.
Our leadership team will work with staff and the consultants to make sure progress is being made.
